I trust I have posted this feedback under the correct topic.In the 3yrs I have been using qBit I have never had any problem with updating to a new version until the most recent one Ver. 4.6.0 Once I have made my movie D/L selection it loads the "screen" listing the files but freezes at that point,and I can't get it to start the download.I uninstalled the new version and did a reinstall rebooted windows,but the problem remained.My OS is Wins 11 Pro and I use Surfshark for my VPN. I went back and have installed Ver.4.5.5 which is working fine.I trust you can use this feedback to identify the bug.I can't see where there is an option to attach a "screenshot'

After selecting the movie to download, it displays the file list screen but freezes at that point, preventing the download from starting. Just updated from 4.5.5 to 4.6.2 without changing any settings, and my RSS feed stopped working and the globe icon turned red.. (connection offline). The port is open in my AV firewall and my router. Any idea before I revert to a previous version?

Just an update won't break stuff like that.
Check your Windows Firewall settings; lately Windows 11 always prompts me if I want an app to use the network.
Maybe it showed up and you pressed Deny by mistake?

I'm using ESET Internet security on Windows 10 fully updated. Checked the firewall and logs - no blockage - as there shouldn't be.
Also, the network connections in ESET clearly shows that Qbittorrent is listening on TCP on the correct port number (although seems to be only in IPv6)
Another thing: Qbittorrent does not shut down correctly, and even from task manager it will refuse to close.

FYI: I just reverted back to 4.5.5 and the issue was resolved. It is definitely due to this version update.

Here is qBittorrent 4.6.2 built with MSVC 2022.

I have set my alternate upload speed to 1/4 of the primary speed, and I don't see a reaction at all. I am expecting 300KB/s, getting 900+ regardless of the alternate button on the bottom. My speedtest shows 11Mbits up, or about 1.37MB/s. I'm on Avast VPN to a node <50 miles from me.
