Torrents take a while to start with a lot of torrents seeding

Post by nowofa9922 »

Hi there !

This question may have been answered before, I couldn't find a relevant thread. Please redirect me to a relevant thread if there is one.

So I have a qbittorrent installed in a docker container with around 4.5k torrents seeding. I know this is a lot.
Is it normal however that when adding new torrents, they take a while to start downloading ? (sometimes more than an hour !)

Is there anything I can do about it ?

Also, my internet connection shouldn't be a limitation (50MB/s up and down)

I had better luck with using the SQLite database type in Advanced settings, but might not be related at all.

Do a full backup before changing the database type though, so you can revert if things break!
