qBittorrent official forums

When I select torrents to download, they show up in my downloads folder but do not download. Trackers all say "not contacted yet". How can I fix this?

1) you can go into settings -> advanced -> "Always announce to all tiers"

2) make sure you have port forwarded on your router and the right port is set up on your pc

3) make sure your firewall is not blocking qBittorrent

4) you can add this public tracker list to any public torrent and usually, it helps a ton:
