move from utorrent to qbitorrent

I want to switch to qbitorrent from utorrent without losing any of the statuses associated with a torrent in utorrent. When I search I've found an app "bt2qbt". You have to give the app the location of the appdata directories for each program. I know where the utorrent files are but the instructions specify an appdata directory that doesn't exist. Any help would be appreciated.
