qBittorrent official forums

I made a .torrent file using the qbittorrent creator tool, but none of the peers are receiving data from it. I have tried with no trackers, some known working trackers, a giant list of public trackers, and still no data transfer. I have checked it on a torrent client on my phone, and had friends check from their computers.

I am successfully downloading and uploading other torrents, the only problem is with the .torrent that I made myself.

Please help, thank you.

Bumping thread because I still can't seed any torrents that I make. I have tried all of the v1, v2, and hybrid options. I am using version 5.0.3 on Linux. Other torrents that I have finished downloading are seeding without issue.

What am I doing wrong?

On a private tracker, or a public tracker?

Public trackers and DHT. I've tried using a list of public trackers that are shown as working on other torrents I am seeding.

I use ProtonVPN, and I've followed the instructions on their website to setup port forwarding, hoping that would help. So far nothing has changed. Other torrents are downloading/seeding while the torrents that I make are showing no connections. I'm testing right now with a torrent client on my phone, also downloading/seeding other torrents just fine, with both WiFi and cellular. Still no luck.
