Seeding torrent changes to downloading

I created a torrent, hosted it, and started seeding it, then started watching a TV show in VLC player.
About half way through the show (20 minutes?) I decided to check on how my torrent was doing and it was seeding fine. Checked again when finished watching the show and it was downloading. :!: I stopped it and did a force recheck and it was fine after that.
Anyone have any idea what happened?

EDIT: No problems so far with the last 3 torrents I've created and seeded. (Nov-12)
