qBittorrent official forums

I am using qbt 3.0.8 on windows 7 x64 sp1. No matter how many time I assign a certain download folder:

Options / downloads / save filed to location, qbt keeps downloading to the default download folder:

C:\users\<username>\downloads

This has been happening on 3.0.6, 3.0.7 and now 3.0.8

I resorted to not start downloading automatically; I then manually change the path manually by right click and "set location".  There has to be an easier way. :-)

Does it save other settings, or is it like every time you restart all settings are back to default?

Yes, as far as I know, everything else is just fine. Port, speeds, etc. are retained. It's just the download folder (C:\_down) that gets ignored.

how do you get the license

I think I figured it out... There is a checkbox in options / downloads / watched folder - under a "download here" tab 

Must have checked that at some point, thinking that it would enable the watched folder or something. My bad.
