New to the app, but it seems to have the same issue Tixati has: over dozens of files, only 8 people are ever uploaded to.
I can't see any option to change this. I'm on fibre, so I've set no limit on ANYTHING, and still, I can only ever upload to 8 people...
Solution?
Upload limited to 8 peers, how to change this?
Re: Upload limited to 8 peers, how to change this?
Do you use XP?
Check? Patch your tcpip file.
(Half-open connections.)
If not... well, let's check your router settings (SPI firewall and such can cause a serious slowdown.)

It's not going to be that. All the other apps that use rasterbar (Deluge and halite) run fine with no limit on connections. I'm on Win8.

Re: Upload limited to 8 peers, how to change this?
If I remember correctly halite uses libtorrent 0.15.x which doesn't support utp connections. This could be a sign(or not). I am not sure about Deluge though...
Re: Upload limited to 8 peers, how to change this?
Deluge uses 0.15.10
Why would this be an issue, especially since I've turned off uTP rate control?

Normally it shouldn't be an issue.
I am just saying that there might be other differences between the 0.15.x and 0.16.x that make this problem of yours.
You could try using qbt 2.9.5 which uses libtorrent 0.15.10 and see if the problem exists there too.

Also looking at the source code the number of peers to upload to is controlled by this option:
Tools->Options...->Connection->Maximum number of upload slots per torrent
Try setting to 0 for unlimited peers.

I have this problem as well, even on some of the qBT v3.1.0 alpha builds:

http://www.imagebam.com/image/6b792d262312581

Sufficient peers are present that I should at least exceed 10 upload slots.
