Hey all , qbittorrent 1st time user from utorrent and
Q kills U !!! I love this . But I cannot find where or how to setup the
ip filter list for it .Can some kind soul help out a noob ? Id really appreciate it .

I saw that , and thanks for that fast reply . Im just unsure where or what to
put in the space for an address where it says dat , p2p , ect . Can you help with that ?

First, download the ipfilter to your computer using a browser and then click the "..." icon to select the file.

Thanks teeko , what I did was use the ip filter dat file from
my old utorrent and it put 225832 file rules in . Is that what I should have done ?

If it says the ipfilter is applied in the "execution log" tab, then it's all good. You can also see the list of blocked ips if you switch from the "general" tab to the "blocked ips" tab.

Currently, it's updated once a week.

An important note though:
For qBittorrent to load this filter properly, you must change the file extension from .p2p to .dat
(Reason explained by Dayman here: http://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php?topi ... 56#msg5656 )

And choose the .dat format.
I use level1 from bluetack.

EDIT: It seems that the .dat format needs subcription to give you a URL :s. I use PeerBlock to have system-wide ip blockage.
