qBittorrent official forums

I completely ran out of hard drive storage while using qBittorrent. After clearing some room and switching it back on I found it had wiped all settings and info. All torrents are back at zero. This includes stuff that has taken months to download. In my download folder it looks like the info I have downloaded remains. However the torrents are at zero. Any way to fix this? Any way to square up the new torrents with what I have already downloaded?

1. First of all set all torrents to PAUSED.
2. Then check to see each torrent if the save path points to your download folder or somewhere else. You can see the current save path by selecting a torrent and clicking the "General" button at the bottom of the main window.
3. If the save path is the same go to the next step. If different: a)go to the current "save path" and manually delete any files that exist(or move them out of the way). b)Do a force recheck on the torrent c) right click the torrent and select "Set location..." and choose the correct path.
4. Right click and choose force recheck. Your complete torrents should show 100% now.

Warning: I highly recommend doing a backup of each torrent before doing the steps above. One at a time. Alternatively, do a single torrent as a test to see if this actually works not all of them at once.
