feature suggestion

I love qBittorrent.  It's better than K-Torrent which came by default on my Kubuntu, and way better than uTorrent that I used to use on my Windows machines.

I have an idea for an improvement.  I did not find a feedback suggestion form, so I'll post it here.  If I should be posting this or e-mailing it elsewhere, please let me know.

Qbittorrent seems to be geared for people who save all there torrents into their Downloads folder because that's what a menu suggests when you first start a torrent (or go to re-seed one you've already downloaded).  That's fine since a lot of people work this way.  However, not everyone does.  I download videos to an external hard drive.  This works best for me since I might switch to a different non-Linux machine to burn the videos to DVD.  I keep each torrent file in a separate folder along with whatever video or subtitle files come with it.  I often go back to re-seed.  If at all possible I always download a torrent file first rather than using a magnet.

Whenever I start a torrent to download or re-seed, it would be nice if when that menu pops up offering to put it into my Downloads folder if there were a checkbox that said, “Put into same folder as torrent file.”  That would save me the trouble of surfing to another drive and through a bunch of folders.  Maybe I could even set that as my default.

I do it this way so that I can easily keep track of which torrent file goes with which video in the event that I choose to re-seed after being away.
