New versions on Ubuntu 12.04

Hi,
is there other way than compiling sources to have latest version of qbittorrent and libtorrent on Ubuntu 12.04? Ubuntu has almost 2 years old legacy versions and ppa:hydr0g3n/qbittorrent-stable updates only qbittorrent but libtorrent remains Ubuntu legacy version.
Thanks

The ppa maintainer (also current developer) no longer includes libtorrent. I think this was to offer better compatibility, or in case there was another program installed that was using libtorrent.
qbittorrent will certainly work with the older version of libtorrent, it should be designed that way, but yes I'm pretty sure the only way to get a newer or latest libtorrent is to compile it yourself.
Also, I'm not sure if ubuntu works like Debian in that you can temporarily adjust the sources and get an updated libtorrent that way? Like from 13.04 or 13.10?

Like loki says, the only way to get the latest version is by compiling, but as well as
hydr0g3n's (Christophe Dumez) ppa there is also
Evgeny Lensky's which has also been posted previously in this forum
Yes, you can adjust the sources list like Debian (via Synaptic or Muon package managers)

Thank you all, I contacted Evgeny Lensky and he assured me he is going to update his PPA regularly with new version, qbittorrent 3.1.4 and libtorrent 0.16.13 are being published there just now, so I am going this way.
