qBittorrent official forums

On updating to 3.1.5 several strange things happened, such as all settings being wiped, including labels, totals and file selections within torrents. I also had to force a recheck on every torrent. These things I could fix. There is one remaining problem I don't know how to deal with - when a torrent finishes downloading, it quickly pauses, and so I can't seed. When I try and restart, it just pauses again. The execution log shows:

19/01/2014 16:59:26 - XXXXXXXXX reached the maximum ratio you set.
19/01/2014 16:59:27 - Pausing torrent XXXXXX...

Now, I had the "share ratio limiting" option off, so this didn't make sense. I tried setting it on, no luck. Off again, no luck. I've also restarted qBT, my machine, our modem, to no avail. (I'm running Doze 7 btw.)

Any ideas?

Did you have ratio limiting on when you loaded these particular jobs? Because changing it in Options does not change it for existing jobs, it only applies to jobs loaded AFTER the changes are made.

Ah, thank you! I hadn't ever set ratio limiting on any job, but when I checked the individual limits, they'd all been changed to zero. Thanks for solving my problem. Sorry, I'm new to qBT, I wouldn't normally go to the forums for something like this, but I haven't been able to find a manual.
