Rar file downloaded after Download

Hello everyone!
I wanted to know if there was a way to compact a file automatically downloaded via QBittorent
I normally use this command: rar a-m0-v400M-R "file" "folder name"
you can put in the automatic procedure?

Why not use 7zip by the way? It's compression is much better and it's free. Just my two cents.

Without Chris's reply, we don't know for sure, but at this moment there is no such option (as far as I know) in qBittorrent at the moment.
This would need a "run command after download" or something like that box.

However, if you watch the output of qBittorrent, you may be able to compress them using a script. It's not easy, not clickety-click for sure.
(So when a download finishes, there is something in the output. WHEN that comes, the script would compress the given folder/file.)


Anyway. Open a ticket on the bugtracker for this, as a feature request.
