qBt question about automatic RSS downloads from showRSS

Greetings. I´m Juan, new forum member.
I have set an RSS feed from showrss.info. I want to download everything that comes from the feed (don´t need to filter). So I added it to qBt but nothing is downloaded. I noticed this because new items were coming but apparently they needed a double click to start.
I added a filter, checked the "Use regular expressions" and added "." to "must contain". This seems to do the trick...
So the question is: Do I need at least one filter to automatically download from a feed?
