Look & "Feel"

Hi everyone! I am another convert from uTorrent. First of all thank you for your great job on qBittorrent. I have been testing it for a few days now and I am quite satisfied, it is even better than I had expected and beats uTorrent imo. In fact, there is only one thing I currently like more in uTorrernt: Design, particularly the colors. Hence I added this topic.
I already saw the thread about the planned text colors modification. That's good news and I will post and vote on that thread, too.
However, I would also suggest to reconsider the icons, mainly their colors. I know tastes differ, though yellow-purple or green-purple are really tough on the eyes (at least for me). Simple, yet clear icons (like on uT) would actually be pretty neat.
Another suggestion concerns the border around the progress bar. I would get rid of it, as it takes space, but is imho not much of use.
Lastly, a little bit more of spacing between the lines and maybe a
tad bit bigger font would increase readability.
I want to stress that this is in no way a rant, but just some suggestions. You are doing a great job regardless.

Can you post a screenshot showing the problem? Also pinpoint it into the image if you can.
The text is the default used by the OS. We don't mess with that.

Sure. I wouldn't exactly call it a "problem" though, it is just less is often more.

Ah, I see. That's a good choice then.

You can actually shrink the column for progress bar if you're short on space. Though some may prefer larger so that they can count the ticks... I don't see much use to it since it is just a simple progress bar and it also displays the percentage completed.
But now that you mention it, it should probably display as "100%" when completed, it doesn't need to say "100.0%" does it?

I would prefer the system icons instead of modified eye candy.
this is a good example. I wish i had such like this.

I think he compile from qB
source skin is
here enough to find some good icons and to change/replace with original ones then install qB by compiling it. I don't think it's a Web Gui.
I've installed my copy from Debian source in this way i do not have any opportunity to change icons. I wish dev make a changes in future.

Thanks. Actually makes sense, but for some reason this didn't come to my mind.

Good news sledgehammer_999, I believe many users will entertain even more new look. Thank you very much for hearing or voices over polls and forum.
Now that uT is been more and more garbage, qBt will take his place day by day.
I personally promote qBt wherever i can.
