qbt is never maximized on restoring main window

As the title says. If I have qbt maximized and then I click Close (goes to tray, according to my settings). When clicking on qbt icon in tray to Show the qbt window, this window is not maximized. It's close to it so it's not that troubling on the eyes but sometimes it bugs me, pops in my eyes that is not fully maximized
Is this a bug?

On Windows this doesn't happen so I can't say that it is a ''bug'' from qBittorrent. If someone else can confirm it also on Linux would be nice.

There was similar report from a user in the bug tracker. It turns out the problem was from his window manager/DE. IIRC he used Enlightment. What do you use?

Doesn't happen on Mint 16 qBT 3.2.0, the GUI returns to the same size, position and monitor it was previously.

I'm fairly new to LInux so I'm not sure what you said. I have Linux mint 17 Mate, so whatever it's using.
How do I find out?

MATE is the DE == Desktop Environment
Open "Session and Startup" , check what is running on the session tab.

I tried to replicate this issue with Transmission just for kicks. Doesn't happen. Could be a problem on my end, but it seems to be limited only to qBt.

You could try another qt application (I don't have any to to propose though)...

vlc is a qt app but I don't know if it has a tray icon...
