qBittorrent official forums

So this program was recommended to me, but even after I set qbittorrent as the default program the only way i can open a torrent is to go through the program itself.  I can't open it just by running it through the browser or even double clicking the torrent file any idea what i'm doing wrong?

1. launch it with admin rights
2. tools->options...->behavior->file association, check the 2 options and apply
3. close qbt

Double click a .torrent file. It should work now.
