I recent bought a NAS to use as fault-tolerant central file storage for my home LAN.
Previously I had multiple PCs in the house that each had their own qBittorrent clients downloading to their local disks.
I'd like to have those same PCs redirect their downloads to the NAS. Ideally, they'd all download to the same folder structure on the NAS drive X: e.g.:
X:\BT-Completed
Active downloads would be sent to: X:\BT-in-progress
My question is: will the presence of other downloads from other clients in the same in-progress and completed folders confuse a PC's qBittorrent client? Or does it maintain a local database of its own torrents and files (and thus not care about what else resides in the download folders)?
