qBittorrent official forums

Hi,
it seems I have an ongoing problem which lasted over a year now and it looks like Qbittorrent is the root cause for it.
The thing is - when QBT runs in the background and I'm using my web-browser: firefox, chrome, opera, etc... to download some files then the downloads are being jammed at some random point, regardless of whether I'm currently downloading or just uploading in QBT.
This gets extremely frustrating especially when the download source is limiting the bandwidth per certain time...
So far, the only solution that works is to shut QBT down entirely however it's not optimal for me...

I've tried playing with some Speed options such as: Enable bandwidth management, and apply rate limit... turning them on or off doesn't seems to have any effect even after restarting the app.

Thanks, I'll try that and see whether it works...

Also you can cap your upload speed to no more than 80% of your upload capacity.(yes i refer to upload not download)
It helps a lot! You can do that from Settings.
