Given the amount of complaints about the 'search engine', the issues created by sites changing their search parameters, sites getting shut down, ISP blocking some torrent listing website and the python search 'plugins' being somewhat less than 'supported';

Why not just dump the search engine completely? I know it means that the terminally idle might just have to do their searching using a browser but hey does it REALLY mean that much of change in their lifestyle???

Re: qBitTorrent search engine.
python issues are resolved now. But not in v3.1.11 (the automatic python installation was broken).
As for sites changing and breaking the plugins: Well that was known and acceptable risk when implementing this feature(I imagine). You can't expect to work without issues in the future. To my knowledge, the only problematic plugins are piratebay because the site is down and vertor because they changed they're layout. All others are working. So no big deal.

Re: qBitTorrent search engine.
The Search Engine is the main reason I use this torrent. The client is really great. A strong one. But for me the main feature is to find something with a single search. Not with twenty. ;-) So I actually find it great.
I was even wondering if it is possible to put a forum section on the plugin and py plugins. IMO when it is clearly stated as not officially supported feature it would be great. :-)
