qBittorrent official forums

I'm running a linux home server with Ubuntu Server 14.04.1.  A few days ago I ran apt update and apt upgrade and restarted.  When I went to access my qbittorrent webui, it prompted me for my password.  The password that I had been using no longer worked.  I checked the changelog for 3.2 and it said webui users would need to reset the password.  I can't login with log: admin, pass: adminadmin, so I'm not sure what else I can do to reset the password.

I'm very new to linux, so please make tips or instructions as if you're talking to an idiot.  Thanks in advance for the help

Nothing new there for me then

Edit the config file

~/.config/qBittorrent/qBittorrent.conf

Change the ByteArray value to "5ebe2294ecd0e0f08eab7690d2a6ee69"  (without the quotes) and the password will be set to "secret" (without the quotes).
