qBittorrent official forums

I've recently installed Linux and was recommended qBittorrent by a friend and after using his found it very easy. However after installing it on my laptop I am unable to download anything, and I'm not sure why?

I'm not all that technical but want to try and resolve this if I can. Any help or advice will be appreciated.
