Don't force a re-check when a missing file is restored to a download directory

I have a partition I use for some of my bittorrent downloads that I have to manually mount using TrueCrypt. The problem is that if I start qBittorrent before remembering to mount my partition qBittorrent will see I'm missing files from my downloads and require me to manually re-start the torrent once I have the partition mounted. That's a little annoying by itself, but then I also have some large (40GB+) files meaning that re-checks take a grueling amount of time when this happens.
It would be nice if instead of immediately requiring me to recheck a torrent if the application would allow me to instead mount my partition or otherwise restore the files to where they should be, hit start, and just have qBittorrent behave as if it was just launched before originally checking that all files were still present. This would avoid having to do 'Checking' on multiple large torrent files and save a lot of time and inconvenience.
