qBittorrent official forums

Hello,
I see from my firewall's logs that I have continuous requests on bittorrent port ( 8999 ) also when Qbittorrent is closed.
Seems that my IP remains available when I close Qbittorrent.
These requests will probably disappears after a few hours?
Is this a normal behaviour?

8999 isnt a port strictly related to bittorent protocol.
Its a streaming content port used by quicktime, internet radio, other things like that.

Likely someone using a streaming torrent client /w quicktime is asking you for the next piece as the tracker reports you online still (hasnt timed you out)
