qbittorrent 3.3.4 UI lag

qBittorrent is my favourite torrent client for mac. I run the latest version on a macbook pro retina 2013 with el capitan installed. When I add some torrents the UI start to lag and sometimes the whole machine lags. I don't have this issue with other torrent clients. But I love qbittorrent and don't want to change. I saw there was a similar issue on windows. Is there a fix?

What do you mean by lag?
How many torrents are you adding?
Can you link to the similar windows issue, i cannot find it.
What version of qbittorent are you running?
