Adding more search engines

I added more search engines (torrentz and sumotorrent) at 2.8.4 and 2.8.5. I did it at Windows and Linux Ubuntu.At both versions and both systems the new search engines return results but they don't start the download and they can't open the description page.
Is it me or simply the adding plugins don't work?
