Ui improvements

Hello, as a new user I have a few suggestions that would greatly improve my enjoyment of this program:
1) Progress tab for torrents in the main torrent status bar area with #, Name, Size, Total Size, ect. This way we could easily view the progress of multiple torrents at the same time without needing to click them and open up the "General" sub-tab to view the downloaded pieces.
2) Option to hide unwanted sub-tabs. If I never use general, trackers, peers, or http sources it would be nice to never have them getting in the way.
3) Option to hide the left panel. While it can be minimized by dragging the slider all the way over a small space is still reserved as a placeholder so you can expand it again. It would be nice to hide/restore it from the view menu and make that space available.
4) Option to hide the bottom toolbar with DHT, connection status, alternative speed limits, ect. If I choose not to use these it would be nice to hide them and make that space available.

1. Isnt that the purpose of the main window and the columns display? Only extra feature is the total size.
2. +1 for that idea
3. Its barely noticeable when its hidden by dragging all the way over, but WHY would you actually want to hide that? its how you sort things.
4. +1 for that idea.

In answer to your first question about a tab at the bottom that lists all this information about torrents, why dont you use the seeding/downloading etc categories in the left panel.
If you right click the Name/Size/Done Bar at the top of your torrent list there are more columns you can add, and you can even disable the default columns.

The displayable information there is already fairly extensive.

Regardless, this is the support forum for support questions, for feature requests please post on the github, the developers are more active there than here

Forum subsection description states: "Discuss suggestions and ideas for the forums, site, software." As the forum is dedicated to the qbittorrent program I can't imagine software would mean anything else...

And in answer to your questions:
1) It shows which packets of the torrent have been downloaded and their availability.
2) I view everything all at once so I only need it to be sorted by type and priority.

Yes you're correct its for discussing new features, if you actually want to request them + have them implemented then the github is typically the place to post them.
Qbittorrent is maintained & developed by volunteers primarily when they have spare time, its logical to conclude they peruse the issue tracker more frequently than the support forums, yes?

1. I see, does it automatically populate with downloading torrents and ignore 100% torrents?
It would have to to prevent overloading the tab with useless data yes?
Or would it be customisable and support downloading/completed/seeding flagged torrents but make the user need to select the torrents to show up in it?

2. Fair enough.

"Discuss suggestions and ideas for the forums, site, software."
Clearly says this is the place to talk about suggestions and ideas for qt software, which once again is only the qt torrent program. It is also logical to conclude that if the makers pay for and maintain a suggestion forum they would read it. Otherwise a suggestion forum shouldn't even exist.

As for your other question, when a torrent is completed it simply shows itself as being 100% available. I suppose a toggle could be added to hide that information when it was at 100% but either way the column would remain so it never bothered me much.
