Hi,

recently i've noticed that the function "AppendLabel" stopped working, when i've checked the .conf file indeed it not there, previously i added it manually and was working fine (probably this the June updated.. i cannot recall exactly).

the problem is now if i add this manually, restart the service or server the .conf file seems to be restored to another version or simply erase this parameter. Any idea how to add this parameter again to the .conf file?

System details:
Ubuntu server 14.04
qBittorrent-Nox 3.3.6

Recreate the file as you like, then chmod it to read-only?

Personally haven't encountered or attempted to use that feature on my seedbox, sorry :X

i've tried to delete the file, change permissions, but each time i restart the service the file is generated once again, with some default config, however i don't know from where is he getting it.
I checked the Init.D script but there is no invoke command to copy or replace the .conf file

Any idea how to enable this function once again or why settings are beign re-generated?

currently this option it's really useful since i've several appliances that use the Labels to store the files in specific folders where the scripts runs

I have the same issue with qBittorrent.conf file. Did you managed to solve it?

Unfortunately no.

I tried purge all and reinstall qBittorrent from the scarth and doesn't work, somehow seems he's removing the values from the [Settings], i'm not sure if it's because this option has been removed or maybe some of my settings it's in conflict with AppendLabel

I have the impression that the new download system that implemented on 3.3.6 has broke this and especially when you are using qbittorrent-nox. Unfortunately the -nox in settings is way far not updated/current with the GUI versions.

I did a quick google-search and this issue with qB-nox I now read reported by atleast 4 persons in the 10 mins I researched it. It was mentioned back in january also, so not a v3.3.6-only problem. qB-changelog-searching only lists e.g. fixing append-label for magnets etc long ago(and don't mention qB-nox). There's an issue reported on it on the qB bug-tracker, but not responded too, and another older issue posted about labels in general and where it was also mentioned.

It seems you're out of luck unfortunetly. Some things not in the options-dialog of qB-nox can be added and made-use-off, but others won't work and are either ignored/removed on run.

the strange it's it was working perfectly with previous versions but the strange it's the fact that if i add this manually he recreate whole settings file unfortunatelly i couldn't get why
