so now I started a 400g mame chd torrent 0.177 where I had the mame chd 0.175 on my harddisk

so I did that

I started the 0.177 torrent
closed qb
moved all 0.175 content to the torrent downloading dir
started qb
qb rechecked all with about 80-100 mb/s speed
96.2% were good and qb downloaded the missing parts and finisged 0.177 fast

so now my question why qb has no real feature to handle that?

Like an import feature for new torrent with same files but a different name?

It shouldn't be a problem doing it by yourself like you did there, why so lazy .

actually its not same files

many files are same , some are changed some are new

overall after dirty import torrent wil start at 96,2%

so torrent name is different like  "mame 0.177" vs "mame 0.175" and files are only 96,2% the same

you should somehow try to make a import feature where you can check a dir for files or part of files which will match the actual torrent


right now I make it the dirty (but working) way but native qb support for that would be nice

well as I said I found a "dirty" working way to handle that manual which is very fast and easy

96,2% revovery rate on a 400g file is rearly perfect as even changed files are imprted as much as possible

I just suggest add a "hard import" command in qb which is basically coded in 10min

its

1) stop torrent
2) copy all files from selected dir into loading dir (overwrite existing files)
3) make force recheck
4) start torrent
