Help to configure connections

Hi!

I'm new to qBittorrent and I need help to configure it to get the best speed on seeding.

I have a 70mb/s down and 30mb/s upload connection and about 80 torrents seeding.

I'm using the default settings of qBittorrent.

Can you help me to configure it?

Thanks!

70mb/s down -- do you mean 70 MEGABYTES/second or 70 megabits/second?

qBitTorrent's speed limits are in KILOBYTES/second.

Hi!

It is 70 megabits/second.

On speedtest I have this results:

Download: 74693 kbps
Upload: 32117 kbps

Just like I explained here:
index.php/topic,5333.0.html
...qBT's main bottleneck is max upload speed.

Yours can be considerably higher than 500 KB/sec.
30-32 megabits/second works out to be 3000-4000 KILOBYTES/second total upload speed...but you probably need to leave a little extra so it doesn't sometimes overload the connection when downloading quickly or doing other things.
So set Max UL Speed to 3000 KB/sec.
To DL and UL with faster peers and seeds, you want a higher average upload slot speed than 10 KB/sec...maybe 15-50 KB/sec?
With 15 KB/sec average upload slot speed, that limits Global Max Upload Slots to 200. (If you used 50 KB/sec, then there'd be only 60 Global Max Upload Slots.)

Max Active Torrents should probably be limited to 100 or less, although you can have more than that started if they lack peers/seeds or are really slow.
Global Max Connections only needs to be about double your Global Max Upload Slots...so 400 total, BUT you should probably raise that if you have 100's of torrents started at once -- reserving about 5 connections per torrent up to the max limit in qBT of 2000.

Max DL Speed you might want to limit to 8000-9000 KB/sec, once again to prevent overloads and packet loss.

If you allow uTP connections in qBT, make sure it is subject to the MAX speed limits!

Per Torrent Max Connections and Max Upload Slots depends on how many torrents you have running and whether you're only seeding OR downloading too.
The more torrents you have, the fewer connections and upload slots each can get. You probably don't want 1 torrent getting 90+% of your speed if all other torrents go slow as a result.
If you're running lots of private tracker torrents, those gain nothing from having over 20 connections max while seeding...because usually there's only 0-5 peers on each.

Thanks for the answer.

Initially I'm trying this settings: 300/100/150/auto (max upload slot per torrent).

Let's see if this will be good!  ;)
