Actually, the reason why I decided to visit the forum was to suggest this exact feature.

Default paths for different categories, and to be able to have that enabled in Automatic mode.

Funny...I was going to ask about working on features that could be implemented this way.  I'd been thinking about adding a compare feature though.  To find torrents I deleted, but hadn't moved out of the original folder.  I'd prefer a way to automatically do this though, and always wondered what the categories feature was for and how to use it.  This sounds like a logical way, and not just to color my screen up like I've managed to think of before.

I would like to vote up this request as well.
