Here is qBittorrent 2.9.2 built with MSVC 2010 express.

libtorrent v0.15.9
Qt: 4.7.1
Boost: 1.46.0

Is there a difference between the Express and Ultimate versions about the build/compile phase?
I have the ultimate version (due to campus/MSDNAA account) ...

ps.: I'll start this release on my main PC in a virtual machine (first XP, then Windows 7).

This version works fine under my Win 7 Pro SP1 32-bit. No errors, download and upload at full speeds, everything is OK.

Gotta fetch the ISO files and rebuild my VMs. I'll report back in a day or so.

It works great, I also report that the hash recheck seems faster and doesn't eat all the RAM anymore. (I'm running on Windows 7 64bit.)
I conflict on the Qt library, mine says it's built with 4.7.1 I assume this is very insignificant though.
Also, is it possible to link the lib/dlls statically like sledgehammer' builds were? (Not that it's too much of a big deal but I believe it makes a much smaller install, by about half.) Or did this somehow cause some of the various I/O errors?

I saw that infinity ratio is fixed - very good.
As for me, i prefer bigger, but stable version. You see - it works fine already on Win 7 64-bit. Now installation file of 2.9.2 is 7.8MB, sledgehammer's 2.9.0.1 was 5.5MB - about 2MB is not big deal

@Shiki : There is no difference between msvc utimate and express version for qbittorrent.

@loki : you are right it is changed on my first comment.

For the size of the instaler : I will see this in the coming days.

This is weird. I have downloaded the installer, and installed it on Windows XP SP3 Professional.
After the downloads hit ~50%, everything stopped and hit "Stalled".
Restarting the client fixed the problem so far. Still waiting for long-term results.

Update: Except that stalled problem, nothing else so far. The client is uploading with maximum speed, no memory hogging, nothing.

@shiki : in ur installer, you dont need to put the msvcp90.dll with the needed dlls.

Seems perfectly stable, XP32 SP3.

Mem/CPU utilization is normal (low.)

No crashes, errors, network traffic is stable+fast as usual.

I noticed the UI elements for uTP support are in the client itself, preferences and such at least but it's not enabled.

Too bad libtor isn't updated yet.


Anyone know if there's a way to con it into using/storing it's settings and files in it's install directory?

I disassembled it hoping I could find how it picks the directories (in hopes of just forcing it to store it's files in the application's directory), but it's beyond my abilities and attention span.
