I get a good few of the following file format 'Linux.TORRENT.qbt_rejected' what is this and why is it rejected?
And I wonder what is the cause and how to prevent it?
They are 0 bytes in size too
'file _name_goes_here.TORRENT.qbt_rejected' what is this and why is it rejected?

Re: 'file _name_goes_here.TORRENT.qbt_rejected' what is this and why is it rejected?
It is because you the "watched folders" functionality.
When a new file appears in the folder, qbt tries to read it. If it fails it waits a bit and retries. After a few failures it rejects it.
