End-game phase

Most torrent software has an end-game phase where multiple sources will be sought for the final missing pieces.  I've noticed that qBT doesn't seem to do this.  Is this a function of qBT or libtorrent?

I would think libtorrent would implement such function, and by qB using libtorrent base should have the feature. I guess I don't know enough about libtorrent or "end-game" though to say if it does or doesn't have such a feature.
