Splash screen comes up, nothing else

Post by lonewolf88 »

Lubuntu 11.10, Qbittorrent 2.9.2

Splash screen comes up, nothing else.

How do I get the software to open?

Was working ok until this morning!  :P

All help gracefully accepted!

Thanks!

Thanks for that link, except in my case nothing minimises to the task bar.

Tried left clicking on the splash screen, but disappears off the window before I can even get the mouse to it.

Starting from a terminal, I get the following error messages:-

Code: Select all

Couldn't set environment variable...
qbittorrent: symbol lookup error: qbittorrent: undefined symbol: _ZN10libtorrent7sessionC1ERKNS_11fingerprintEii

I suspect you installed two way the libtorrent. One way is when you try to compile it.So you have two different libtorrent-rasterbar may be different version too.
Best way if you try to delete the compiled version because the author is very quick. ;) Just go to /user/local/lib and every files with *rasterbar* delete.
If you have deluge and qbittorrent together it doesn't matter.Another way is re install your linux (not good).Purge and remove didn't work for me.I think this is a nice try.Good luck if it up to date the issue.
Anyway very hard to solve it.I struggled with it for two days.

I met this message in last days. It means qbittorrent and libtorrent version doesn't fit for each other. Please change one of them.
