I'm a bit of a beginner here so this is probably a stupid question.

I don't understand how the web interface works. I've enabled it, set the password and forwarded the port from the router, but I have no idea how to access it from another computer. What is the URL I need to type for the web UI?

To access it from another computer in the same LAN (local network), just use the private IP address (like 192.168.1.1), if you want to reach it over the Internet you need to know your public IP address or, preferably, use a free dynamic DNS service like this: http://dyndns.com
