A way to stop torrents

Stop checking if the files are still there
Stop telling me to redownload them
Stop putting them back in my download list unless I want them there
I download a vast amount of little crap, and I dont want to keep redownload the crap over and over again so I keep the torrents in program, but having the files held hostage by the program is not what I want.
