qBittorrent stalls and has to be restarted

Sometimes qBt gets stuck with torrents in the "stalled" state. It can see peers and seeds, it just doesn't download anything. Closing and re-starting the app fixes it.
Windows 10 x64, qBt V4.1.2.

This happens to me when my VPN goes down and reconnects. qBittorrent doesn't seem to like it when your IP changes. Not sure if that's your issue, but it makes all the torrents stall.

This happens with other clients as well, because your PC and the other clients have update their routing tables. I have several systems running and the one with the most torrents (4500+) takes about 30 minutes to get back to full speed, and this is exactly what I experienced with uTorrent.
