Pause/Resume just deleted all non-active torrents

I just watched the majority of my torrents disappear. I selected PAUSE from the taskbar icon (I had another download I wanted to 'hurry along') and when I went back and selected RESUME - - all the torrents that were not actually active when I hit Pause were deleted!
Quick frankly - WTF !
I have had multiple torrents mysteriously disappear in the past, and never figured out why, but this time I actually had QBittorrent open at the time and could quite literally watch them get deleted.
This seems to be a quite serious bug.
