All torrents stalling

Suddenly all my torrents have started stalling, even some which have hundreds of seeders. I checked to make sure it wasn't my firewall, and I checked to make sure IP addresses and DNS servers were being obtained automatically (settings dont save though) for my VPN. Could this be the root of my problem or possibly something else? I have the latest update for Qbittorent.
