qBittorrent official forums

I am at a loss of how to update this program I have spent countless hours googling and researching forums to no avail. When I go to update this program it says a instance of this program is still running I cannot find anything within the processes I have tried to do everything that I can think of to be able to update this program with no luck please is there anybody out there that has  updated this program within windows because I have not the slightest clue how to figure it out please let me know how.

Reboot your computer make sure qbittorrent isn't running.
You also can check your taskmanager if it's still there then force close it and update with the new file you downloaded.
