Noob miserably failing to add search plugins in qBittorrent.

Windows 8, qBittorrent v4.1.4
Hello. Having just installed qB, I have an empty "Installed search plugins" window.
When I "Check for updates", a variety of "Search plugin install" windows flash up (e.g. Torlock, zooqle, limetorrents, btdb) saying "Couldn't install btdb search engine plugin. Plugin is not supported".
The button for "Search plugin source" allows me to enter weblinks, but I have no idea how to proceed from here.
What do I do next?
