qBittorrent show me "2 IP/Peers" for my internet connection

Hi

Since two months ago, every time i download something with qBit, another peer with a similar ip adress appear with the same pourcentage and client as me, even on torrent with 1 peer which means its not another peer but myself

It doesn't happen with Utorrent/Deluge, i haven't changed anything on qBit and tried to update to fix the problem but it didn't work, this problem is annoying because my downloads appears to be slowed down, and again it doesn't happen with my other bitorrent clients

Image thanks

Was your computer previously on either of those internet ip address?
Is qBitTorrent using port 8999?

The first one is my current one, usually one of the ips is my current one, and i probably already had those in the past weeks

And yes its used this one (on the other clients its another random one)

Is resolve IPs disabled? (So qBitTorrent's peers window will only show "bare" IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.)

Under Options, Advanced:
"Resolve peer host names"
and
"Resolve peer countries (GeoIP)"
Disable them both to see if these peers then show a different ip address, because they may be hostile poisoner peers trying to sabotage your torrents.

Does your computer have both an Ethernet connection and wifi connection to the internet and/or router?
If so, that might explain why it sees itself twice.

go to a cmd prompt and type
ipconfig /all

Do any of the ip's match?

put this into a browser while running torrents then press the Torrent Address detection on the page https://ipleak.net/

No, none of the ip match

I did that and it show me the same IP as the one on whatismyip (my real one), i  assume the problem is with qbittorrent rather than my internet, maybe there is a setting i can change to make it works ? I never changed anything since i had this problem

Your wifi connection may sometimes be jumping to a neighbor's router which has a similar ip address...possibly causing qBitTorrent to attempt to connect to the older ip addresses your computer briefly had before.
