Using QBittorent with PIA (Private Internet Access)

So for a while, I was using Soft Ether VPN Gate Servers to Torrent on QBittorent. I finally caved the other day and purchased PIA. It took a while, but I finally got QBittorent to work with it after reinstalling it. When downloading on QBittorent, I'm usually getting speeds from 500 Kib/s to about 1000 Kib/s to 1.1 Mib/S. Is there settings I should change on QBittorent to get the best possible speeds. I still have a ton to learn about torrenting so maybe those are the realistic speeds I should be getting, but I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. And as for who my ISP is, I have Xfinity with a 150 Mbps package. Thanks for any help! My speeds I got from doing a speed test on a wired and wireless connection without my VPN on are below. I used speedtest.net (I take it my torrent download speeds will be quicker on a wired connection?). Thank you for any input you are able to provide!

Wired:

- 15 ms Ping

- 91669 Kbps Download Speed

- 5502 Kbps Upload Speed

Wireless:

-19 Ms Ping

- 36273 Kbps Download Speed

- 5643 Kbps Upload Speed

I am on QBittorent version 4.1.5 and on Windows 10.

Edit: Downloading a Torrent of Ubuntu I was able to get speeds of up to 2.2 MiB/s. Given what I got from my speed test, I still don't feel I am getting close to what I should be.

Another Edit: I decided to download a torrent of Ubuntu with my VPN off. I got speeds up to about 5.5 MiB/s on the file.

The download speed could be over 3x what you got on wireless, but even still something is wrong with those speed test results.
Both upload and download should be higher with wired!
150mbit/sec should show up about that fast in speed tests, not <100 mbit/sec.
And the upload should be about 11 mbit/sec.
Channel-bonding issues with an old cablemodem perhaps?

qBitTorrent's settings depends greatly on the quality of the torrent swarms you frequent.
If it's public torrents for stuff that kids would like, expect to get horrid speeds on a per-peer basis. (Because kids are unlikely to know how to configure a BitTorrent client as well.)
If the torrent is a couple years old and there's only 1 seed and 0-2 other peers, speeds will likely be very low.
If it's private torrents on popular+busy private trackers, download speeds may be great (over 9000 KiloBYTES/second!) but maintaining a good UL:DL ratio can be extremely difficult.
Linux distro torrents are good to test max torrent download speed on, but uploading is likewise hard to do on them because some of the seeds are on 10 gbit/sec or faster fiber lines.

I do have a cable/modem combo. It is an Arris TG1682G that is leased by Comcast. So do I need to change something with my cable/modem/router combo. The torrents have varied; some with only like 50 seeds, some with like 3000 with newer movies and stuff. And, like I mentioned, I did try downloading Ubuntu. Where do you recommend I go from here? On my Xbox, which is connected to my modem/router directly, I do get the speeds over 100 MBit/Sec, sometimes close to 150. I guess the term for what I have is a Gateway.

Edit: I decided to download a torrent of Ubuntu with my VPN off. I got speeds up to about 5.5 MiB/s on the file.

Then there's likely a problem with your computer if the Xbox gets a much faster speedtest result.
Bad drivers, malware, cpu overloaded with other stuff, etc?
