My upload speed is zero and I hate being a leech.

I have read what I can find on improving upload speeds and it might has well be written in Mandarin.

If you can be patient with me I would like to be a responsible member of the torrent community.

Have you set a port forwarding in your router/firewall/PC and specified the same port in the program itself?
Which version of the program you have installed, 4.1.6?
