Hi there!
Since i recently moved from uTorrent, I'm concerned by the qbittorrent upload speeds.
On the same exact torrents, same computer, everything, my upload speeds are way less than on uTorrent. Instead of 9-11 Mb/s i usually hover at 4-5 Mb/s.
Settings are stock, windows 10, QB 4.1.6 x64, 200MB download / 100MB upload
Any solution to that?
Slow upload speed
Re: Slow upload speed
I had similar problem (together with high CPU usage what was the bottleneck), but solved successfully with the following steps:
1. Use all the processor cores:
Qbittorrent->Settings->Advanced Settings->Async I/O threads: 8
It helps to use your hardware better - but it won't fully solve your problem
2.
Turn off windows memory compression
This relatively new windows feature always compresses all the data that downloaded and sometimes the cached data when uploading.
Windows->search for Powershell->start as admin->after start type without quotes: "Disable-MMAgent -mc" and reboot
https://superuser.com/questions/1000485 ... ompression
Your downloads/uploads will be super fast and the cpu usage will be normal -> no crackling in sounds, less power usage and all the other good things
Notification: If no compression turned on, your computer will use more memory but you can live with it.
Sure, there can be more problem with other settings, for example if your port number is not the same as in uTorrent and it is opened in your router settings. Check that too.
Check the following settings in qbittorrent:
Settings->Bittorrent->DHT, PeX, LPD->try not to use it (turn them off)
Settings->speed->no limitations
