I can'nt do any search on Qbittorrent 4.1.7
Plugins of search can'nt be dowloaded or installing on this version.
Can you help Me

I had a similar issue. This is what I did to make it work. I don't know if you need to do all of these steps, but it's what I did.

I uninstalled Python and installed the latest version. I chose the x64 version because I am using the x64 version of qbittorrent.
Right click the start menu python icon, click more, go to file location. Right click the Python shortcut. In my case it was Python 3.7 64-bit. Choose properties. click the advanced button and select run as administrator.

Navigate to
System Drive :\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\nova3

copy that directory somewhere.

delete appdata nova3 directory (I don't know if it matters)

Install the latest version of qbittorrent

It will detect your existing copy and ask you delete and update it. Make sure you keep the settings as deleting it will mean you need to redo everything and probably lose your current torrents.

Don't launch it.

Then make qbittorrent elevated to run as administrator.

start qbittorrent and click search.

There won't be any visible, click search plugins and check for updates. It will populate.

If you had additional plugins you can install new ones from file and navigate to where you saved the previous ones in the ..\nova3\engines folder.
