qBittorrent official forums

A week ago I got a notice from firefox that bittorrent was breached, so I uninstalled it. Today I installed qBittorrent and it seemed to install okay. File association was automatically set. It appears in my program list as c:\program files\qBittorrent , and that folder contains
translations
qbittorrent.exe
qbittorrent.pdb
qt.conf
uninst.exe

Nothing happens when I try to execute qbittorrent.exe , the hour glass appears for a few seconds, then nothing after that. I tried running as administrator.
Windows 10. I tried turning off firewall.
Running uninst.exe as administrator does work.
I reinstalled, and at the end of installation I let the box checked for "launch", but nothing happened.

Your system seems funky. Maybe an anti virus is interfering? qBittorrent should just run fine, half the world uses it...
