My computer got really slow while Qbittorrent working..

I'm with Ubuntu 12.04, and Every time qbittorrent working my computer got really slow.. it freezed every 5 seconds.. how can i fix it? thanks for help!

Check the memory usage if it's a leak or something.
Open up a Terminal, and use the commands:
"top" (it will display the cpu/mem usage of each and every application. you can close it by pressing Q.)
"free -m" (it will show the overall memory usage. maybe the application ate up your memory and it's swapping heavily.)
